you've decided to join the site -yays!- and you've read the rules. the next place that you will need to visit is this board to create your character. posted within this board is an application template that you will need to follow. this is also where you will find the files of sorts that contain all accepted applications. face claim posted here, along with the canon character list.

apart from the face claim and canon list, here is where you will find everything that you need to claim and sign your character up for, such as instant messenger names, myspace urls, cell phones numbers, classes, sports and clubs.

| plot board
after creating your character and having your application approved, you'll want to get you character involved in a good plot or two. this is where you may post your plot lists. there's a sub-board here where you can also make plot requests.

| the main hall
welcome to alden-park preparatory school, home of the wolves. this is the main hall, or the entrance hall of the school. students congregate here in the mornings, between classes, and after school. it's wide and spacious, big enough to hold the entire student body. from this hall you can find your way to every other part of the building.

| library
one of the doors in the main hall will take you to alden-park's library. it's two floor of shelf after shelf, all filled with books. there's a computer lab on the lower level, along with a small cafe and lounge. come here to do research for class, check out a new book, or to relax. just remember to be quiet.

| cafeteria
the cafeteria serves all three meals during the day for those students that live on campus. the majority of the students come into the dining area during lunch. some stay and eat at one of the several round tables placed in this large room while others take their meals out to the courtyard.

| the classrooms
alden-park's classrooms can be found on any of the two floors of the main building. they are separated into departments, making it easy to find what class you're looking for as long as you're in the right place.

| alden-park theater
alden-park is home to one of the nicest theaters in the area. it's able to hold large amounts of people in the audience and has a pit for live musical performances to go along with the theater productions. some of the school's assemblies are held here instead of the gymnasium or the football field.

| gymnasium
this is where some of the school assemblies are held. of course, it is also where the school's basketball teams practice and play, along with the volleyball team.

| courtyard
the courtyard is also another popular place for students to gather, if not the most popular. it's a rectangular space blocked in on three sides by the school's main building with a fountain sitting in the middle and benches places here and there. this is also the way that students go to get to the dorm buildings and the sports fields.

while academics take center stage at this school, sports are also a big deal to the students and staff alike. the sports complex is just barely five years old, practically a new addition to the school. it has football and soccer fields, along with tennis courts, softball and baseball fields, and a track. come out for practice or to support the teams.

| biscayne dorms
named after the biscayne bay, the boys' dormitories are located on campus of alden-park. each room houses two students, giving them their separate bedrooms and a shared living area. the dorms overlook a stretch of the beach and the waves.

named after julia tuttle, the founder of miami, the girls' dormitories are located on campus of alden-park. each room houses two students, giving them their separate bedrooms and a shared living area. the dorms overlook a stretch of the beach and the waves.

| miami houses
not all of the students that attend alden-park stay on campus in the dorms. some of them are locals to miami, and commute to school everyday. their homes range in type and location, but most all of them will have a view of the ocean of the shoreline miami has to offer.

talk about your one stop shop. the bayside marketplace has everything, ranging from food and entertainment to stores like fye and skechers. there's a link inside so you can see what's really there.

you hope that you never need them, but it's always good to have a hospital near by in case of emergencies. mercy hospital of miami is staffed by over 700 doctors and are well equipped to handle whatever you've gotten yourself into. not every life can be saved, but that's all a part of fate.

dek23 is an intimate nightclub with four dancing stages, a silhouette box, and high energy music in the main room, while the outside patio allows patrons to dance under the stars, while listening to international lounge music. the nightclub has taken a different approach than neighboring venues, promising to provide their patrons with a high level of customer service, without the attitude. it is recommended to arrive early to avoid a prolonged wait.

there's no way that every class is going to be able to hold your attention. you're going to want to distract yourself and chat with your friends. passing notes is the easiest way to do that unless you want your cell phone taken away.

this is where you'll find most everything that you need for out of character talking and such. there are sub-boards for away messages, random chatter, games and the like. remember to keep it all at least somewhat clean here and not to post anything too revealing about yourself. online safety, kids.
