i know rules are icky, but you got to have them. these rules are short, sweet, and to the point. and, if i might add, extremely easy to follow. just read through them. i promise it won't be that painful. i think you'll find that i'm actually pretty reasonable. ^^

  • respect - this is something that you must show to every single member of this site. don't be rude. don't be pushy. don't get angry if someone doesn't reply to you right that second. be respectful. be kind. be considerate. be patient. it would also be wise of you to be respectful to the staff. they accepted you onto this site. it'd be quite simple for them to ban or delete you.

  • attendance - when you join this site, it is imperative that you know how important attendance is. i'm not saying that you must be one every single day, but i am saying that you need to be here as often as you can be. don't join and never come back. that's stupid. if you are going to be away for a period of time, there is a board for that in the ooc category.

  • graphics - a signature is required for your character. avatars are fine. pictures are fine just so long as they do not expand the board from it's original size. if a staff member asks you to resize a picture, just do it. it's not too hard. hell, they'd probably be happy to do it for you if you ask them kindly enough. just make sure that your pictures are of your character and are appropriate, meaning no dogs, cats, or naked people doing naughty things. thank you.

  • rated m for mature - that is this site's rating. there are no censored words. i do not require that you mark threads with a rating. swearing, sex, drugs... it's all a part of life and it's all probably going to turn up at some point or another on this site. i'm not going to stop you unless it's unreasonable. if you're looking for a site where none of this is allowed, this isn't it.

  • accounts - there may only be one character per account. i don't care if they're siblings. one account, one character. your display name must be your character's first and last name. capitalize it or keep it all lower case, it doesn't really matter. just no crazy shit like !ThIs``~. keep it simple. it makes everybody happy.

  • posting in character - in character posts are to be in third person and third person only. they are also to be using proper grammar and spelling. there is a spell check button at the bottom of your posting screen. there is no excuse for misspelled words. the word minimum for in character posts is 100 words. this is not hard to achieve, and there is a word counter also at the bottom of your posting screen. no excuses. try to post decently. no one liners or freaking run on sentences that never end.

  • out of character - every site promotes out of character chat. there is a c-box for this, along with a board under the ooc category. i'm not going to limit what you say or do. all that i ask is that you keep the c-box and ooc posts somewhat clean (without fuck being every other word, get my drift?) and site appropriate. don't spam the c-box. don't place ads in it. and please, don't give out any information that online predators might use. common sense, people. common sense.
